On September 10, 2004, I delivered our beautiful baby girl, Mary Catherine, during the 38th week of my perfectly, uneventful pregnancy. However, Mary Catherine was born asleep due to a nuchal cord accident (the umbilical cord was wrapped around her little neck 5 times). We are devasted and miss her SO very much! We are thankful for the time God gave her and to have conceived her at all, but our arms and hearts ache for her every second of every day. Grief is such a process, and we just ask for the strength to get through each day. We have began our journey of tring to conceive another baby (we know it's soon, but we want to start our earthly family, and our hearts need some mending), and I just ask you for prayers to conceive and for a healthy baby as the end result. I also ask for prayers for Mary Catherine, as she is now a baby angel with heavy wings because her Mommy and Daddy ask so much of her (to help them grieve and to pray to God to send us a little sibling for her).
