When parents are faced with an infant or child crisis, they often need to deal
with emotional, spiritual, medical, physical, intellectual, financial, and practical
issues. When the fantasy of parenting a “perfect” child and a “normal” child is
shattered, the nightmare of reality can be overwhelming. Only another parent
who has undergone a similar situation can share the depth of this trauma.
Emotions can be overwhelming and the feelings of anxiety and uncertainty can
leave parents desperate for information. Elizabeth Ministry assists parents who
face the many challenges of a child who is sick or has special needs. We offer
resources and contacts with other parents who can help.
