Elizabeth Ministry encourages family relationships formed through
adoption, foster care or marriage. Elizabeth Ministry also recognizes
the pain experienced by those waiting to adopt as well as the grief
and sense of loss felt by birth parents.
ADOPTION
The decision to adopt is a complex decision and a life-long commitment.
Often the process is difficult, expensive, and frustrating. But once you have
your new baby or child in your home, you begin to experience the joys and
challenges of parenting.
Our resources and services provide special support for families considering adoption,
those in the midst of the adoptive process, and persons making an adoption plan for their child.
UNITING FAMILIES
In our society today, there is an ever increasing need to combine and successfully blend families, or multiple generations
into a single household. These situations result a need to form new family relationships and bonds, while respecting each
individual and their continuing family relationships outside of the immediate home.
Elizabeth Ministry has various resources concerning blending families and changing families, whether due to divorce,
marriage, re-marriage, death or economic circumstances.
